Additional costs apply to gas consumers.
The storage surcharge for filling the gas storage tanks was set at 0.059 cents per kilowatt hour.
This was announced by the gas network operator subsidiary Trading Hub Europe (THE) on Thursday.
It is therefore significantly less important than the gas levy of 2.4 cents per kilowatt hour announced on Monday.
The gas surcharge is intended to absorb the replacement procurement costs of importers for failed Russian deliveries.
For an average four-person household with a consumption of 20,000 kilowatt hours, the gas surcharge incurs additional annual costs of 480 euros, while the storage levy costs around 1.20 euros.
Added to this is the value-added tax.
For comparison: New gas customers currently have to pay around 28 cents per kilowatt hour.
A year ago it was less than six cents.
The surcharges are added to the higher prices.
