Oil prices fell today, heading for a weekly loss, due to pressures from the strength of the dollar and fears of a global economic slowdown.
Reuters reported that Brent crude futures fell 97 cents, or one percent, to $95.62 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell 91 cents, or one percent, to $89.59 a barrel.
Both benchmark contracts are heading to record weekly losses of close to three percent.
