During a long-distance trip from Paris to Warsaw on August 17, a woman gave birth a few kilometers from the final destination.

"A little boy has decided to let out his very first cry aboard a FlixBus"

, rejoices the company in a message posted Friday on its social networks.

A little before

“the Poznań bus station”,

she specifies.

A few days after this unexpected birth, Flixbus salutes

“the responsiveness”

and the

“support of the drivers and our passengers”.

And welcomes a

“delivery

(which)

took place without complications.

“Once they arrived at the station, the mum and the little boy were taken care of and transported safely to the hospital,”

adds Flixbus.

The opportunity to indicate that this little boy is the third child to be born on board a journey of the company.

As for the first two, he

“will be able to travel for free on FlixBus and FlixTrain until his 18th birthday”.

It is also a way of ironically reminding its usual passengers that it is necessary to

“keep in mind that even if having free tickets is great, it is not a contest

”.

Beyond this event, Flixbus has wanted for several months to adjust its offer both in terms of its routes and its prices in the face of competition from the low-cost OuiBus trains launched last spring by the SNCF.
