The multinational investment bank Rothschild & Co. announced today the opening of a representative office in Israel of the group's Wealth Management division, after receiving the required regulatory approvals from the Bank of Israel.



The representative office in Israel, whose offices will be in Herzliya Pituach, will be led by Geri Livnat

Livnat, who joined Rothschild Bank in June of this year, has a cumulative experience of more than 20 years in the financial sector in Israel.

Until recently, Livnat served as the CEO of UBS Wealth Management in Israel and before that as the manager of the main branch of UBank in Jerusalem. Livnat has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in business administration, and is a speaker at high-tech conferences and serves as a judge in startup competitions.



Rothschild & Co. is a family-owned financial entity that has been at the heart of the world's financial markets for more than 200 years.

It is one of the largest independent financial advisory groups in the world, with more than 3,800 employees in more than 40 countries.

The group's experts provide its clients with knowledge in the field of global consulting, capital and asset management, and private investment funds.



The capital management division provides services to families, entrepreneurs, foundations and charities.

The Rothschild family is one of the few families that managed to preserve its wealth for seven generations, and therefore the bank specializes in understanding the challenges of wealth management.

The wealth and asset management division of Rothschild & Co. has offices in Aix-en-Provence, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Geneva, Grenoble, Guernsey, Leeds, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Manchester, Marseille, Milan, Monaco, New York, Paris and Zurich.

The division manages more than €100 billion in assets.

A combination of tradition and innovation

The bank explains that Israel is a country with a very vibrant economy, where capital growth is fast and therefore it is an important market for the Rothschild & Co. group in general, and with tremendous potential for its capital management division in particular.

The division will provide investment advice, as well as portfolio management and advisory services to established families and entrepreneurs.

The group adds that the opening of the capital management division's representative office in Israel is part of the group's strategic vision to invest in markets where the bank has already established relationships and reputation.
