Last week, Avshalom "Abu" Willan, who gave Walla details of the conversations he had with a senior vice president of the Ministry of Agriculture, promised that he would "sit in jail" as he put it. And this morning he acted to implement the threat, when he filed a complaint with the police against the director general of the Ministry of Agriculture, attorney Naama Kaufman Ps.

The complaint was submitted as mentioned after the publication in Vala about the WhatsApp messages Willan received from Mbika Cohen, Senior Vice President of the Ministry of Agriculture, during the discussions on the reform in agriculture, from which it appears that Cohen briefed Willan on how to "stab" the reform and sabotage its advancement, contrary to the instructions of the ministry and the current minister At its head, Oded Forer.

In one of them, Cohen wrote: "They are calling me. They want me to leave the tour and come to a personal conversation with the minister in Jerusalem. Do you have any idea if someone burned me? Do you know anything?"

Abu Willan answered him, "I have no idea."

Following the so-called advice that Cohen provided to farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture filed a complaint against him with the State Service Commission, for breach of trust, conduct contrary to instructions, cooperation with the body he is supposed to supervise, damage to negotiations, providing information and data without permission, actions against the instructions of the CEO and sending messages against the state.

The State Commission confirmed the filing of the complaint and responded: "The referral has been forwarded for examination to the Disciplinary Investigations Division of the State Service Commission. It is not possible to provide details beyond that."

Willan accuses the director general of the ministry, Kaufman Fess, that she, or employees on her behalf, leaked the correspondence, and the complaint to the police came after he sent an urgent letter to the Minister of Agriculture and the Justice Advisor to the Government, demanding that she be fired on the grounds of wiretapping and a serious violation of privacy.

"The CEO of a government ministry who uses criminal wiretapping - cannot stay in her position for a minute," says Willen. "This is a step down in her performance.

I hope that the police and the ombudsman for the government will take the necessary step to signal to public officials that breaking the law pays."

The Ministry of Agriculture refused to comment.
