Russia's Gazprom announced today that it is supplying natural gas to European countries through Ukraine with a confirmed volume of 42.4 million cubic meters per day.
"Gazprom supplies Europe with Russian gas through Ukrainian territory in quantities confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Suga crossing point at the level of 42.4 million cubic meters," TASS news agency quoted the company's spokesman as saying.
The volume of gas transit amounted to 42.3 million cubic meters the previous day, according to data on the website of the operator of the gas transportation system in Ukraine.
