The average price of road fuels sold in service stations in France fell sharply again last week, reaching the symbolic bar of 1.50 euros for the SP 95-E10, under the effect of the rebate raised to 30 centimes per liter implemented on 1 September.
Premium unleaded 95-E10 fuel reached the symbolic bar of 1.50 euros, a decline of 4.2 cents compared to the previous week, according to figures released on Friday and communicated by the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

The price of SP 95-E10 gasoline thus regains levels of May 2021, when the country emerged from the third confinement of the Covid crisis.
The liter of unleaded 95 premium fuel fell by almost 5 cents, to 1.5690 euros.
Diesel sold for an average of 1.7547 euros, or 2.5 cents less than the previous week.
A discount of 30 cents
These prices take into account the discount put in place by the government, which was raised on September 1 from 18 to 30 cents per liter at the pump (in mainland France).
It is necessary to add, for Total stations, an additional commercial “discount” of 20 cents.
These prices evolve in a very volatile context.
After a period of decline at the start of the summer, diesel in particular has risen again since mid-August, due in particular to the gradual implementation of the European embargo on Russian petroleum products.
Europe must find other sources for diesel, which it does not produce in sufficient quantities, which leads to an additional cost.
In general, oil prices remain very high, boosted by the post-Covid recovery, the limitation of supply from major producers and the consequences of the war in Ukraine.
