Chinese official data showed today that the foreign trade of central Henan Province rose 8.4 percent year on year to 517.56 billion yuan (75 billion US dollars) during the past eight months of this year.
Of the total, the province's exports from January to August rose 7.5 percent to 318 billion yuan, while its imports rose 9.8 percent to 199.56 billion yuan, data from the customs of Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, released by Xinhua.
The data indicated that during the same period, the province's trade with ASEAN countries and the European Union maintained its growth, with its trade with RCEP members rising 16.7 percent year on year, while its trade with countries along the Belt and Road registered a year-on-year increase of 33.3 percent.
