Can these calculations add up? riddle of the week

There are ten incomplete equations on the blackboard. Which mathematical operators such as plus or minus do you have to add so that the calculation is correct in all cases?

THE MIRROR

There are ten equations on a blackboard - but these are obviously incomplete.

Any mathematical operators such as plus or times are missing to the left of the equals sign.

Your task is to find the missing operators to create actual equations.

An example: Two plus signs make

2 2 2 = 6

the correct calculation

2+2+2=6

.

You are free to choose the operators, but you may not insert any additional numbers.

Operators are only allowed to the left of the equals sign, only the 6 is to the right. Are there solutions for all ten cases?

There are solutions for every ten rows.

The operator for taking the square root is also used, which usually does not require the number 2 and therefore satisfies the conditions of the task.

Here is a suggested solution:

(0! + 0! + 0!)!

= 6

(1 + 1 + 1)!

= 6

2 + 2 + 2 = 6

3x3 - 3 = 6

sqrt(4) + sqrt(4) + sqrt(4) = 6

5/5 + 5 = 6

6 + 6 - 6 = 6

7 - 7/7 = 6

8 - sqrt(sqrt(8 + 8)) = 6

(9 + 9)/sqrt(9) = 6

The factorial function helps with the 0.

By definition, the factorial of 0 is 1. In the case of 8, a solution with the third root would also be conceivable (3 x third root of 8), but then a 3 would appear in the root expression, which is not allowed according to the exercise.

I discovered this pretty number puzzle on Twitter from the @pickover account.

Other solutions are also suggested in this thread, such as 4 + 4 - square root(4) = 6.
