Having joined Air Liquide in 1993, François Jackow took over from Benoît Potier on June 1 as CEO of the French industrial gas giant.
LE FIGARO. - You took over the general management of Air Liquide in a context marked by the surge in energy and the climate crisis. Has this changed your strategic vision for the group?
Francois JACKOW. -
I have full confidence in the strategic vision of our group.
Certainly, the changes are accelerating, with short-term impacts on our customers and our activities.
But Advance, our strategic plan launched in March, was built to meet challenges that are here to stay.
Air Liquide is at the heart of the energy transition and invests in the markets of the future, electronics, health and high technologies.
In the medium term, the context is in fact an accelerator of our strategy.
With soaring energy prices, we are talking about energy sobriety.
For everyone, it is the urgency of the moment.
