Antic, the Israeli Web3 company that developed a blockchain-based infrastructure to create shared ownership, today announces the completion of a $7 million seed round, led by the Seven Seven Six funds established by Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, the Sheva fund established by Omri Caspi and David Citron and with the participation of Ashton Kutcher and Guy Ozari's Sound Ventures, Pantera Capital, Rainfall, and Dapper Labs.
The company has developed a technology to create shared digital wallets for various purchases based on the blockchain network by technology that enables shared ownership of physical/digital assets and, in addition, also enables shared ownership of intellectual property.
Through this funding round, Antic will expand its in-depth research and continue to develop its technological infrastructure in order to respond to the blockchain challenges.
Antic is the Israeli Web3 pioneer, which allows companies to independently establish blockchain-based ownership models.
These models, which are built on top of the Ethereum blockchain technology, are an efficient and decentralized way to own, control, use and benefit from digital assets that a person creates or holds.
"Through a simple user experience, Antique is making shared ownership technology accessible to the masses for the first time," said Alexis Ohanian, founder of the Seven Seven Six Foundation.
"Thus, any asset can be socially owned in common through the blockchain technology of shared digital wallets. Antik's interface provides a significant solution that allows anyone to participate in the ownership economy in the Web3 network."
Since co-ownership technology is a developing concept in the Web3 worlds, the infrastructure provided by Antic is designed for any business interested in adding a co-ownership option to the products it offers.
This infrastructure allows businesses and individuals to do whatever they want with the assets they own - sell, provide access, add additional co-owners and more.
Antic's new approach makes any asset - digital, physical or IP - accessible to all parties who wish to join as owners, and opens up new avenues of use for each of the co-owners.
