It's actually the brand new bet of one of China's biggest gaming companies, NetDragon Websoft.
Founded in 1999, the company which weighs nearly ten billion dollars has just appointed “Madame Tang Yu”, a female robot, to its management.
The first in the world to lead a company.
Its great advantage?
To be the only CEO on duty 24 hours a day and without pay.

"The Future of Business Management"
Equipped with artificial intelligence (AI), Tang Yu will intervene in the organization of the company in order to improve its performance: daily decision-making, risk management, adaptation of working methods... But this is not not all.
The new CEO will also be responsible for human resources tasks, with the aim of providing a better working environment for all employees.
"We believe AI is the future of business management," NetDragon Websoft founder Dr. Dejian Liu commented in a statement released in late August.
"Ms. Tang Yu's appointment reflects our commitment to fully embrace the use of AI to change the way we operate our business and ultimately drive our strategic growth."
The metaverse, a new working environment?
By this revolution, the Chinese company, at the origin of the famous video games like Eudemons Online, Heroes Evolved and Conquer Online, tends to get closer to the metaverse (understand, the digital lining of the physical world).
A strategy acclaimed by the consulting firm McKinsey according to which companies must take an interest in the metaverse now if they do not want to miss out on a massive source of growth for the decades to come.

NetDragon Websoft got the message.
“We will continue to develop our algorithms behind Tang Yu to build an open, interactive and highly transparent management model,” Dejian Liu continues in the statement.
“At the same time, we are gradually transforming into a metaverse-based working community to attract talent from around the world.”
