The exchange rate of the Russian currency rose against the American and European currencies today, and the dollar was traded below the level of 57 rubles for the first time in about two months.
According to the data of the Moscow Stock Exchange, the dollar exchange rate fell by 1.96 rubles to 56.84 rubles, for the first time since last July 22.
The euro exchange rate fell by 2.54 rubles to 54.91 rubles for the first time since July 1.
The rise comes after the indicators of the Moscow Stock Exchange and the Russian ruble declined at the beginning of this week, and experts indicated that speculators were playing on the psychological factor after the Russian President announced the partial mobilization in the country.
