The Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, stressed the importance of securing soy seeds as a priority for soy factories in Syria and increasing their production to provide soybean meal and vegetable oil.
Minister Salem stressed during a meeting with the head of the Homs Chamber of Industry Labib Brothers and a number of owners of soy factories and importing traders on the need for joint collective action to move the production wheel, invest the ingredients and provide their production in the markets with quality specifications and competitive prices for the importer.
Minister Salem stressed the need to support and preserve national industrialists and traders, especially those who worked during the war years and endured the pressures of the unjust siege on Syria and are still producing despite the lack of resources.
