The Russian ruble recorded a new high against the dollar and the euro in today's trading, and the euro was traded below the level of 56 rubles, after it exceeded the 80 rubles earlier.
The Russia Today website quoted Moscow Stock Exchange data: that the dollar exchange rate fell by 11 kopecks to 57.80 rubles, while the euro exchange rate fell by 42 kopecks to 55.87 rubles, (a ruble equals 100 kopecks).
