Automotive: Uber relies on Stellantis to go electric

The VTC platform still has 47% of diesel vehicles in its fleet in France, while it wants to reach 100% electric by 2030 in Europe and North America.


Stellantis rolls out the red carpet for Uber VTC drivers tempted to convert their diesel vehicle into a new electric car.

Free2move, the group's subsidiary dedicated to mobility, has signed a partnership with the American giant for France.

The manufacturer offers them its full range of models: e2008, ë-C4, Mokka-e, Zafira-e, and even the new Citroën ë-C4 X, the launch of which is scheduled for October 13.

Uber has pledged that all vehicles that pass through its platform will be 100% electric by 2030 in Europe and North America.

There will be two major stages

First the exit of diesel from 2024;
