With Arab and foreign participation, the activities of the seventh edition of the 2022 Reconstruction of Syria exhibition, organized by the Al-Bashiq Exhibition Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, kicked off this evening, until the second of next October on the fairgrounds of the exhibition city in Damascus.

In a statement to the media following the opening, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Eng. Suhail Abdel Latif, confirmed that the building materials exhibitions are a platform for displaying the products available in the local markets, or that can be available through the offers of local, Arab and foreign companies, indicating that there is a development in terms of the materials offered and production. Domestic building materials this year.

Eng. Abdul Latif pointed out that the remarkable development in the presented materials and techniques concerned with digitization and automation supports the management of engineering projects and contributes to shortening time and human cadres, which is reason for optimism, because it constitutes the ideal solution for the reconstruction phase during the coming period, considering that the diversity in the participating companies reflects the situation economic and political after the victory that has been achieved.

The Governor of Damascus, Eng. Muhammad Tariq Krishati, confirmed that the exhibition is an opportunity to exchange experiences between the participating companies, which will contribute to the reconstruction phase of Syria, and it also constitutes a bridge for communication between them and to see the developments in the building materials used during the coming period.

For his part, the Director General of the Al-Bashiq Foundation, which organizes the exhibition, Tamer Yaghi, pointed out that the exhibition includes for the first time participations from civil associations, institutions and social organizations, emphasizing the importance of human building in parallel with the reconstruction of stone.

Among the participants, Eng. Mohamed Assi, General Manager of the General Company for Roads and Bridges, explained that participation in the exhibition allows benefiting from the experiences of the participating companies and to learn about the latest technologies, mechanisms and equipment offered in the field of construction and to facilitate communication with them.

From Lebanon, Malek Salameh, director of the Gibrands Iontech Company for the manufacture of solar energy equipment, said: The company has a number of years of experience in the field of solar energy, which was opened in Lebanon with the aim of developing the renewable energy market in the country and in neighboring countries, as it is concerned with installing solar energy systems and providing the required maintenance services. He presented special offers for large projects, pointing out that participation in the exhibition constitutes an opportunity to open new doors to introduce the company's products.

From the Saed Association, volunteer Ghadeer Ibrahim pointed out the importance of the participation of NGOs in the exhibition in order to attract and develop youth ideas and talents to launch new initiatives that serve the community.

The exhibition program, which receives its visitors daily from four thirty in the afternoon until ten in the evening, includes workshops in the presence of international and local businessmen, researchers and specialists.
