The Central Bank of Russia announced the extension of restrictions on the withdrawal of funds outside Russia for foreign individuals and legal entities of countries not friendly to Moscow through intermediaries until March 31, 2023.
"The ban will continue until the specified date on non-resident individuals from unfriendly countries who do not work in Russia, as well as legal entities from these countries," the TASS news agency quoted the bank as saying in a statement.
The statement indicated that "Russian citizens of friendly countries will be able to transfer up to one million dollars to any accounts in foreign banks within a month and up to 10 thousand dollars or its equivalent in other currencies through money transfer systems."
The statement pointed out that non-resident individuals working in Russia have the right to transfer funds abroad in the amount of wages, indicating that this feature will be available to representatives of countries friendly and unfriendly to Russia.
