The Italian Central Bank announced a decline in the value of the single European currency, the euro, last month.
And the Italian agency Aki quoted the bank as saying in its monthly bulletin: “The euro fell in September to 0.73 from 0.23 last August, putting itself in a negative state for the first time since September 2020.”
The bank explained that the decline in the index reflects a simultaneous and decisive aggravation of several determinants, in particular the decline in consumer and business confidence in the region, in addition to the decline in industrial production.
