The Fnac Darty group, which places after-sales service more and more at the heart of its business model, has just launched its own apprentice training center (CFA), to supply its battalions of repairers.

The distributor currently has 2,500 technicians spread throughout France, who repair large household appliances at customers' homes, or in the workshop for products that can easily be transported there.

Fnac Darty intends to recruit 500 more technicians by 2025. 200 positions are currently available.

But qualified candidates are rare.

“Since the Covid, our profession has been scarce, particularly in Île-de-France”
