Professional photography brings different visual ideas to the headlines and merges art with skill.
The studies in the track allow you to spread the world into frames and wander between different roles in the industry: from a leading image photographer in an advertising studio, to working as a documentary photographer in a commercial channel - the choice is yours.
From a hobby to a career
In order to turn the hobby into a professional career, we at Wizo Haifa Foreign Studies teach ways to reassemble what is perceived as "photographic thinking".
The contents are studied throughout the year through a chain of events: we will start by developing awareness to understand the components of the visual language, we will adapt photography techniques to the idea and concept of photography, we will update ourselves with advanced knowledge in photography technology and finally we will easily operate relevant computer programs for digital processing.
A tip from studying abroad at Wizo Haifa
: integrated tools, like in the professional photography program, will help you combine several positions in the industry - such as magazine photography in a large company alongside newborn photography in the home studio.

Interior photography: If you have a three-dimensional thinking, if
you have a sensitivity to shape, color and texture and you are drawn to precision and control over the smallest details, interior photography may be the route for you.
What is interior photography?
Interior photography is a field of specialization in photographing buildings and designed spaces.
This photograph clearly expresses the essence of the building, its design language and all the small details that make it up.
This special specialization requires excellent technical control of the camera, deep "diving" in the understanding of light and its characteristics and of course familiarity with the world of architecture and design.
Why choose interior photography studies?
In interior photography, we embark on a new journey every day of photography.
In interior photography, you can photograph ancient museums and other mysterious buildings, document country houses with modern geometric architecture, capture the urban landscape at sunset and trace the history of buildings for preservation.
In interior photography, the camera is used as a "magic wand" with which you can get to know the atmosphere and style of a particular building up close: from spiral staircases and English windows through the wall coverings to the curves of the roof tiles.
From hobby to career
In the interior photography course, we will learn how to properly approach a designed space and connect to the "personality" of the building.
Within an experiential learning framework of photography days on and off campus, we will examine different approaches to photographing buildings and spaces.
We will explore natural and artificial light and the way through which it is possible to emphasize the architectural elements in the building, in a way that evokes connection and emotion.
To turn the hobby into a career, we will address the different emphases in photographing private and commercial designed spaces, we will experience working with architects and interior designers and we will create an authentic photography style that is as unique to you as a fingerprint.
A tip from studying abroad at Witso Haifa
: supplementary studies, such as styling and editing taught at study abroad at Witso Haifa, make it possible to "close the edges" around the topic of study and connect it to what is happening in the field.

Videography and editing - an activity that fills the heart
Videography and editing studies are suitable for people who like to "beat on a choir", and see how different elements such as directing, casting, production, and music become one file of original human creation.
These studies are intended for photography enthusiasts who want to know the basics of photography and digital editing, from a technical and artistic point of view as a big step towards a professional career.
In the course for studying videography, photography and editing techniques are taught designed to "capture" moments and emotions and turn them into complete films: commercial, artistic, documentary and more.
This special specialization in photography requires comprehensive knowledge - from reading and understanding a script, through sound integration and preparing photo sites to processing and editing films in advanced software.
What makes studies popular?
Videography is hidden in every corner of our lives as a powerful tool for creating and documenting life: in family gatherings, in recording courses and lectures - and of course in making films for the entertainment industry.
The way video is woven into everyday and casual life makes it a medium that grows in popularity every year.
The dynamics with the participants in the directing and casting, the adrenaline in the production of the shooting day and the combination of music and editing - all of these create an exciting working experience that ultimately results in a finished product with a wonderful sense of satisfaction.
From hobby to career
Thoroughness is one of the keys to turning an experimental hobby into a successful career.
As part of the video and editing course, we will learn and specialize in a whole range of concepts and methods: from shooting techniques and editing commercial films and documentaries, through reading and understanding a script, combining sound and effects, to processing and editing films in advanced software.
In just one year you will become a professional in advanced editing and processing software (After Effects, Premiere, Davinci) and produce a professional final video like the big ones.
