The price of gold in the local market decreased by five thousand Syrian pounds from its price announced yesterday, which had reached 232 thousand pounds for the 21 gram.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 227 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 226,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 calibers reached a selling price of 194571 pounds and a purchase of 194071 pounds.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was recorded last Thursday, the selling price of 198857 pounds, and the purchase of 198357 pounds.
