Gas prices in Europe fell in today's trading, by 8%, to fall below $1,100 per thousand cubic meters.
London Stock Exchange data indicated that futures contracts on the Dutch “TTF” index opened at 1099.4 dollars per thousand cubic meters, and soon fell to 1059.7 dollars.
Analysts confirm that the decline in gas prices in Europe is due to the market calm, due to the high level of occupancy of gas storage facilities, but the countries of the continent may face a new rise in prices with the continuation of Western sanctions against Russia.
