The famous Mousline is ready to wake up from her slumber.
Recently acquired from Nestlé by the FNB fund and its management, the brand is preparing, on the one hand, its strong comeback in supermarkets.
While its dehydrated potato flakes still monopolize 70% of the shelf there, they lose on average 1 to 2% of their sales each year.
“We have revisited all the recipes, such as our “masher style”, to give it a texture close to that of homemade mash,
explains Philippe Fardel, who came from Nestlé and who has just taken over as chairman of the group.
We are also looking at innovations such as aligot or Provençal recipes, on which we are legitimate.
Or even vegetable-based purées that are right in the green food trends.
Above all, the management of Mousline is counting on new outlets to relaunch growth.
