The price of gold in the local market rose 8 thousand Syrian pounds from the price announced on the first of this month, with an ounce rising globally to 1684 US dollars, where the price of a 21-carat gram was recorded at 231 thousand pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmen Association for Crafting and Making Jewelry in Damascus today, a gram of 21 karat gold recorded a selling price of 239 thousand pounds, and a purchase price of 238,500 pounds, while a gram of 18 karat selling price reached 204857 pounds, and a purchase of 204357 pounds.
The association explained that any price of gold other than the price issued by it is fake and contrary, calling on citizens not to buy except at the price issued by it, and distributed phone numbers for complaints (0112248005 - 0112230766) and (0991937718).
