Specialized masters (MS) and masters of science (MSc) may not require the same amount of work as an MBA, but still... For students who follow an MS or an MSc in the wake of a previous diploma, this does not pose any particular problem.
On the other hand, for current executives, this means adding training – part-time – to their agenda.
Emmanuel Nourry, industrial director of mortars at Saint-Gobain, started the executive MS in real estate and sustainable building at the École des ponts ParisTech.
He articulates his work at the group's headquarters, at La Défense, his travels in Asia and his training.
However, he is not worried.
“Most of the work for the MS is done during the school week, once a month.
We know in advance the weeks that must be blocked, so it is a question of organizing ourselves accordingly, ”
he summarizes.
