Russia recorded a nearly three-fold jump in domestic flour and grain exports, from the first month of the year until last October, compared to the same period last year.
Russia Today channel quoted a statement by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture as saying: The export of flour and grains from Russia has grown almost three times since the beginning of the year, while exports of wheat and rye flour have increased by 186 percent compared to the same period last year.
The ministry indicated that Russia broke a historical record in the grain harvest this year, as until the 19th of last October, 147.5 million tons had been collected, while the harvest is still in progress.
It is noteworthy that in 2017 a record level was recorded in Russia, as the grain harvest reached 135.5 million tons, including 86 million tons of wheat.
