“one of the four expressions of interest having submitted a letter of intent”

Nearly 600 companies had been contacted.
On February 1, 2022, the Sodiaal dairy cooperative announced the future closure of the site, which employs 160 employees.
This had caused
“an economic, social and human shock on the territory”
, continues the prefecture, which had then mobilized to find possibilities of reconversion.
Finally, the French logistics group, which delivers to national and international companies in various sectors, was chosen for "
the durability and solidity of the planned project, as well as the prospect of creating 150 jobs over 3 years, i.e. almost the equivalent jobs cut by Candia

The future buyer presented the project on Monday afternoon, in the presence of the sub-prefect of Saint-Nazaire, the management of the Candia site, and elected officials from the territory.
