The Turkish foreign trade deficit increased by 421.7 percent, on an annual basis, during the month of October.

Reuters reported that the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute showed today that the country's foreign trade deficit increased by 421.7 percent on an annual basis to $7.87 billion last October, and imports rose 31.4 percent to reach $29.2 billion.

It is noteworthy that inflation in Turkey jumped last September to its highest level in 24 years, by 83.45 percent.
