Slowly, but surely, the government is preparing the French for targeted power cuts this winter to avoid a giant blackout.
Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne will send a circular to the prefects on Wednesday to organize these cuts as close to the ground as possible.
Because what seemed like a distant hypothesis is now becoming more and more probable.
