Gold prices rose today in the local market by 9 thousand pounds per 21 gram, compared to its price yesterday, which had recorded 272 thousand pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 281 thousand Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 280,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 240,857 thousand pounds and a purchase of 240,357 pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it.
On the 30th of last November, gold prices recorded an increase in the local market by about two thousand Syrian pounds, as a gram of 21 carat gold reached a selling price of 272 thousand Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 271,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 233,143 thousand pounds and a purchase price. 232,643 pounds.
