The air carrier announced on Monday an agreement with TotalEnergies which will supply it with these quantities of green kerosene within the next ten years.
At the end of October, the group had already secured with two energy companies - the Finnish Neste and the American DG Fuel - access to 1.6 million tonnes of sustainable fuel by 2036.

For several months, the big companies have multiplied this kind of announcement: on December 1, Shell promised to deliver 360,000 tonnes of green kerosene to Ryanair.

Last summer, Shell also guaranteed Lufthansa to supply it with up to 1.8 million tonnes between 2024 and 2030. As for easyJet, it ensured in September that the Kuwaiti company Q8 Aviation would supply it with sustainable fuel as much as needed until 2027.
