Oil prices rose in today's trading, affected by the decisions of the OPEC Plus group to keep the production level unchanged.
According to Russia Today, US West Texas Intermediate crude futures were traded at $80.39 a barrel, an increase of 0.51 percent from the previous settlement price.
Brent crude futures contracts were also traded at $85.88 a barrel, an increase of 0.36 percent from the previous closing price.
And the countries of the OPEC Plus group, which includes crude producing countries from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC and outside, agreed in a meeting that took place yesterday to keep production at current levels, with a temporary pause to assess the global market.
