Feedback from the war in Ukraine for Elon Musk?
Called in as reinforcements by kyiv the day after the Russian invasion, the boss of SpaceX quickly delivered to the Ukrainians the terminals which allow them to pick up the signal from the some 3,000 satellites of the Starlink constellation.
For ten months, the latter has compensated for the shortcomings of the bombarded terrestrial network, by allowing Ukraine - its citizens and its armies - to remain connected with the rest of the world.
But also to collect information useful to the soldiers on the front.
The SpaceX boss has decided to launch Starshield, a new space connectivity project dedicated to military and government use.
The latter
“uses SpaceX’s Starlink technology and its launch capability

to support and enhance national security,”
the company explains.
