On Tuesday, the French group, which has made a name for itself by breeding
Tenebrio molitor
beetles for animal feed, announced two major agreements across the Atlantic.
One with the American miller Ardent Mills, the other with the Mexican Corporativo Kosmos, a specialist in mass catering.
This is an important step in the development of Ÿnsect across the Atlantic.
It follows the acquisition, at the beginning of the year, of Jord Producers, a small producer of insects, to feed backyard hens in the United States.

The partnerships relate to the co-financing of future insect protein production sites in the two countries, as well as the supply of agricultural raw materials to feed its mealworms.
Two locations have been identified in the United States,
