The price of gold in the local market decreased by two thousand Syrian pounds from the price announced yesterday, as the price of a 21-carat gram was 285 thousand pounds.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Goldsmithing and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a 21-carat gram of gold recorded a selling price of 283 thousand pounds, and a purchase of 282,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram sold 242,571 pounds, and a purchase of 242,071 pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it.
