In the accounts of Julien, lawyer at 4000 euros per month: "People see us as haves"

In a context of general price increases, purchasing power is one of the main concerns of the French.

Coming from all walks of life, some have agreed to open their accounts (salaries, income, expenses) to us for a series of testimonials.

When we talk to him about lawyers in the movies, Julien gasps.

“People have the image of the tenor of the bar defender of the widow and the orphan, earning a very good living, but many colleagues and sisters are struggling”, loose this 26-year-old Parisian criminal lawyer.

He did not choose this path to fill his pockets.

“Otherwise I would have opted for tax law,” laughs the neophyte, who was sworn in last year.

Clients, the challenge of complicated cases and his vision of justice, “a pillar of our society”, steered him towards criminal law, “the poor relation” of the profession.

And like 40% of French lawyers, the young man from Loiret has settled in Paris, whose effervescence is conducive to business.
