Gold prices in the local market rose by 9 thousand Syrian pounds from the price announced last Thursday, when the price of a gram of 21 carats was 283 thousand pounds, due to the high price of an ounce globally, which reached 1795 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 292 thousand Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 291,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 250,286 pounds and a purchase of 249,786 pounds.
