European stocks rose today supported by healthcare stocks.
Reuters reported that the Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.4 percent, after receiving significant support today from the shares of consumer accessories sector companies.
The health care sector rose 0.5%, supported by a 4.4% jump in Dutch health technology company Philips, which announced that independent tests for its respiratory devices included in a wide global recall showed positive results.
