The board of directors of the Russian gas giant Gazprom announced its approval of a record investment program of 2.3 trillion rubles, about $233 billion, and the company's budget for 2023.
Sputnik reported that the company announced on its (Telegram) channel the approval of its board of directors on an investment program and budget for 2023, amounting to 2.3 trillion rubles.
Gazprom confirmed that the numbers have not changed compared to the initial plan agreed upon in November. Also, the budget will cover all obligations without a deficit. The company added: According to the company, the investment program provides the necessary funds for priority development projects, including reserves in Yamal, Yakutsk, Irkutsk and the gas pipeline. Power Siberia and the Gazprom gas processing complex, as well as initiatives that ensure peak gas balance.
It is reported that the size of the investment program for 2022 amounted to nearly two trillion rubles, an increase of 222 billion rubles from the plan agreed upon in late 2021, and the investment program for 2021 amounted to about 1.2 trillion rubles.
