The price of Brent oil rose to more than $84 per barrel for the first time since the fifth of this month.
Reuters reported that the bidding data showed that the price of Brent crude futures contracts, with the delivery date next February, rose to $84.01 a barrel, with a price increase of 3.74 percent.
The price of West Texas Intermediate crude, with a delivery date next January, increased by 2.94 percent to reach $79.77 per barrel.
