Gold prices rose today in the local market by 4 thousand pounds per gram, 21, compared to the price recorded last Wednesday, 308 thousand pounds.

According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 312,000 Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 311,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 267,429 pounds and a purchase of 266,929 pounds.

A gram of 21 carat gold was recorded on the 17th of this month, 292 thousand pounds, while on the 19th of this month it rose to 299 thousand pounds, and on the 20th of it, the price of 301 thousand pounds was recorded, and on the 21st of the month it reached 308 thousand pounds.

The association emphasized that craftsmen must abide by the pricing issued by it, under penalty of violation.
