Gold prices decreased today in the local market by 8 thousand Syrian pounds, per gram of 21 carats, compared to the price recorded yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 317 thousand Syrian pounds, and a purchase price of 316,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 271,714 pounds and a purchase of 271,214 pounds.
Yesterday, the price of a gram of gold decreased by 5 thousand Syrian pounds, as the 21 carat recorded a selling price of 325 thousand pounds, and a purchase price of 324,500 pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached a selling price of 278,571 pounds and a purchase of 278,071 pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it under penalty of legal accountability, indicating that the phone numbers for complaints when there is a violation are 0112248005, 0112230766, and 0991937718.
