One hundred and eleven years after François-André began building the Le Normandy hotel and the Deauville casino, the fourth generation of the family empire will take over.
Better, Alexandre Barrière and his sister Joy Desseigne-Barrière will become the sole owners of the Lucien Barrière group, while the family has cohabited for decades with a minority shareholder, Accor since 1989, Fimalac since 2011.
A board of directors is scheduled for January 20 to ratify a change in governance, revealed in December by L'Informé, but the details of which are being finalized.
Alexandre Barrière, 35, will succeed his father, Dominique Desseigne, 78, as president of the Lucien Barrière group in early April.

,” according to someone familiar with the matter.
