The SNCF has chosen its moment well.
The railway company is launching “flash sales” on Tuesday, called “Connect Days”, with low prices for journeys between January 11 and 31.
For two days, 150,000 TGV InOui tickets will be on sale from 29 euros and thousands of Ouigo tickets at a maximum of 19 euros.
A great communication operation, the very day when the new SNCF price list applies, with an increase in ticket prices of 5% on average.
The measure aims to cushion the additional energy cost, estimated at 13% in 2023 by the company.
