For many years, large companies have focused primarily on the cost of their purchases.
This is no longer the case today, according to the study conducted by the firm AgileBuyer and the National Purchasing Council among nearly 900 purchasing professionals in France.
“Securing is becoming a major issue for purchasing
departments,” analyzes Olivier Wajnsztok, Associate Director of AgileBuyer.
64% of purchasing managers consider the continuity and security of supplies to be as important a concern as in 2022.”
First consequence: relocations in France and Europe should increase, because relying on local suppliers is perceived as a real security.
