Gold prices in the local market rose by 6,000 Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat, compared to the price recorded yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 318 thousand pounds, and a purchase price of 317,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 272,571 pounds, and a purchase price of 272,071 pounds.
Yesterday, the price of a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 312,000 pounds, and a purchase price of 311,500 pounds, while the price of a gram of 18 carat recorded a selling price of 267,429 pounds, and 266,929 pounds, a purchase price.
The association also set the selling price of an ounce today, caliber 995, at 11 million and 800 thousand pounds, and the selling price of the 21-carat gold pound at 2 million and 700 thousand pounds, while the price of selling an ounce yesterday was 995 caliber at 11 million, 550 thousand pounds, and the selling price of the golden pound. 21 karat, at 2,646,000 pounds.
The association emphasized that craftsmen must abide by the pricing issued by it, under penalty of legal accountability.
