Food prices and the cost of living are issues that affect every household in Israel, therefore the discussion held in the Economic Committee on the subject, promised and exists.
The matter arose yesterday, after it became clear to the chairman of the committee, MK David Bitan, that the representatives of some of the food companies and retail chains did not approve of Bowen, sending them a threat - and they showed up for the discussion almost without being present.

Bitton added: "If it wasn't true, you wouldn't have jumped. A capitalist will not use his capital to say bad things to members of the Knesset."
