Like a true publisher of know-how in the textile arts, Maison E.BOEHM breathes new life into carpets that are more modern, more vertical and more responsible.
Created in 2022, its founder Éric Boehm, reinvents the profession by offering luxurious carpets, renamed Velvet Mosaics in Latitude and Longitude Gaits to sometimes sublimate your floors or your walls.
The carpet is decorative and provides technical functions (notably thermal and acoustic).
The first of the know-how highlighted by the brand is that of the Tibetan lockstitch, a work done entirely by hand, transmitted from generation to generation since antiquity.
Unique both in design, the creations are also unique in their DNA and history.
The bet: The preservation of ancestral know-how
From his passion for the Arts, Éric Boehm founded his eponymous House.
Its only objective: to transmit.
Bring together talents, cultures, his vision of life through textile expression.
Each of the creations breathes a meaningful message, thus initiating a new artistic language.
Passionate about unique crafts or crafts handed down from generation to generation, for handmade work, for noble, rare, exceptional materials and fabrics, for encounters between artists and craftsmen, Éric Boehm founded his eponymous House.
Responsible and committed luxury rugs
The particularity of these Velvet Mosaics lies in their social character.
The brand supports isolated populations and is committed to the independence and equality of women by providing them with financial autonomy and promoting the learning of a trade.
Each creation carries a message, social or environmental.
All are made in Nepal according to the rules of the Tibetan lockstitch tradition and with noble, natural, socially responsible materials.
Like the natural fiber of nettle, recognized for its remarkable intrinsic characteristics.
The Maison E.BOEHM Art & Textile catalog displays 3 ranges: The Maison line (8 products), Les Confluences (artistic partnership) as well as a completely tailor-made service designed by YOU for you.
New artistic collaborations
With nettle fiber as an ambassador (low in water consumption, fertile, wild and which regenerates on its own) the "Ruissellement" collection, the House's first line, takes a look and transmits messages on climate change and in particular the scarcity water, the source of all life.
The streams, rivers and lakes are the common thread and tell the story of these waterways or water reserves emblematic of regions or continents.
Éric Boehm (un)paints the changes visible on the Vosges lakes and forests in which he regularly hikes.
The Cruise collection, called "Confluences" is a line imagined with international visual artists, which aims to bring a new reading of carpets and tapestry, to the old medieval "Verdures".
It consists of "Duplex" and "Gradient".
"
Duplex
", co-created with Colmar-based visual artist

The second “Gradient” was designed with the Franco-Swedish artist duo

These velvet mosaics, of irreproachable quality, are as beautiful in substance as in form.
Nettle: This plant fiber of the future
The committed approach of Atelier E.BOEHM is global: to support and promote a heritage of universal craftsmanship by sharing it and associating it with the plant fiber of the future.
With its unique Velvet Mosaics made of nettle fibers and vegetable dyes, E.BOEHM brings a touch of uniqueness to our interiors and proves that art remains an excellent lever for illustrating the distress of the planet.
Creating a warm and comforting atmosphere, the brand succeeds in the daring bet of beauty and responsibility.
Based in the historic textile city of Colmar, with its 2 employees, it offers its precious carpets on its website and very soon at its distributors.
It is already arousing a lot of interest among architects, interior designers and luxury hotels for a B2B service… Do not hesitate to contact the team for any request for information and to discuss your most confidential projects.
