2023-01-18T09:59:33.077Z

More than 500 trains will be canceled for Thursday alone, according to SNCF data released on Wednesday. Here they are.

SNCF travellers, you will be very annoyed if you have to travel on Thursday.

According to a report from Le Parisien carried out on Wednesday, based on data from the railway company, more than 500 long-distance trains were canceled on Thursday alone, the first big day of mobilization and strikes against the pension reform.

About sixty journeys are also canceled as of this Wednesday.

In order to extract the list of canceled trains, Le Parisien delved into an official SNCF database mentioning the trains which, on January 10, were to run on these Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (the strike notice filed by the SNCF current from this Wednesday evening to Friday morning) and those which are no longer as of January 18.

In this way, 503 trains are no longer scheduled for circulation on Thursday, 62 for this day of Wednesday and only one Friday, but this could change.

This does not necessarily mean that the trip is canceled due to the strike, the reason for canceling a train is not specified in this data.

The form below allows you to view this list interactively.

To do this, type a train number or a departure and arrival destination: if the train is displayed (make sure that the number and times correspond to the one you are looking for), then the train is cancelled;

if not, it is still expected.

Canceled trains may also not appear if the database has not been updated.

According to traffic forecasts announced Tuesday evening by the SNCF, the Atlantic axis is the most affected with only 1 train in 5 in circulation.

SNCF Voyageurs is also planning 1 train out of 3 on the North and South-East axis and for its Ouigos and 1 train out of 4 on the East axis.

Regional rail traffic will also be very disrupted, with only 1 TER out of 10 on average, and it will be about the same for the Transiliens lines and certain RERs, in the Île-de-France region.

This list may still be subject to change.

You should therefore go to the SNCF website to obtain definitive confirmation of the status of your train.

Passengers whose train is canceled are a priori informed in advance by the company.

They are offered an exchange free of charge, provided that there are places left on another train, or a refund of the ticket on the means of payment used.
